Our Favorite Chef-Designed Clog Is BOGO Today

Snibbs clogs feel great in the kitchen (and look cute in the streets)

Not all workwear-inspired brands hit the mark, but Snibbs’ clogs have proven their chops among Eater staff as a comfortable shoe to wear while cooking, walking, and standing all day. I believe the exact words from Eater’s Special Projects’ Director Lesley Suter were, “I’m in love with my Snibbs,” and, well, you can’t beat that. So when I caught wind of its one-day BOGO sale, I ran through the village (Eater Slack channels) to let everyone know that they could basically get a $100 pair of clogs for free.

Snibbs was founded in 2015 when, according to the site, chef Daniel Shemtob got really sick of his shoes falling apart. Shemtob teamed up with an orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Snibbe, and a longtime friend, Haik Zadoyan, to create a line of work-functional shoes with dual density insoles, non-clunky designs, and, in the case of the Snibbs clog, a water-resistant faux leather material that is made out of nearly 100 percent recycled materials.

All of this is great news, but I’m just happy that I don’t have to choose between my two personalities (classic black clog or Marjorelle blue clog) thanks to this BOGO sale.
