“How Steven Wong Moves 80,000 Pounds of Lobster a Week” marks Eater’s fourth Emmy win

Eater brought home another New York Emmy with a win at the 64th annual New York Emmy Awards. “How Steven Wong Moves 80,000 Pounds of Lobster a Week” took the top prize in the Informational/Instructional Long Form Content category (beating out, among other nominees, two other Eater videos in the category). The episode, part of Eater’s Vendors series, was produced by McGraw Wolfman, along with Murilo Ferreira on camera, editor Jay Simms, coordinating producer Stefania Orrù, and executive producer Stephen B. Pelletteri.

Eater received a total of six Emmy nominations in 2021, across the Daytime Emmy Awards and the New York Emmy Awards. This Emmy win is the brand’s fourth, joining three other New York Emmy-winning videos including “How One Of America’s Coolest Ice Cream Brands Was Built,” part of the Queer Table series and winner of a 2020 Best Human Interest Program or Special award.
